What support do I get when creating my course?
You'll receive a comprehensive Course Development Toolkit, one-on-one mentorship from experienced educator-practitioners, peer review opportunities, technical platform training, and access to our private instructor community.
How soon can I start teaching?
The course development process can be completed in as little as 2-3 weeks of part-time effort. We begin marketing courses a month before their start date.
Do I own my course content?
Yes, you retain full ownership of all course materials, curriculum, and intellectual property you create. UXR Institute provides the platform and support, but the content remains yours.
Can I choose my own course topic and format?
Yes. We work with you to identify the most valuable aspects of your expertise and help structure them into engaging course formats. We do expect all instructors to follow best practices that drive student learning outcomes, but there is a great deal of flexibility in there.
Can I create a pre-recorded course instead of teaching live?
No, we exclusively offer live courses because that's the most effective way for people to learn. Live instruction allows for real-time Q&A, immediate feedback on exercises, and dynamic discussions that can't be replicated in recorded content.
How are instructors compensated?
Instructors receive a generous percentage of course revenue based on enrollments. Specific compensation details are discussed during the application process.
